Took a prisoner - he was a cultist and miner thought he was stopping forces of bad. He found a wall in the mine.
He started mining 6 months ago with his brother. Initially worked in shafts 1 and 2 and were saboteurs. Eventually, they were moved to shaft 4. They were mining in a set direction - they uncovered the wall. They were then told that there was a ritual they had to perform to unlock it. Tried to perform it in the woods - another miner followed them, and they murdered the miner. This is when the beast emerged.
